Emirates Haraj Platform Terms of Use
Effective Date: December 7, 2025
These Terms of Use for the Emirates Haraj platform ('Terms of Use') refer to the rules for using the platform available at www.emiratesharaj.com and on the Emirates Haraj mobile application (collectively referred to as the 'Platform'), as well as any information, content, or materials published on or available through the Platform (collectively referred to as 'Content').
These Terms of Use govern and determine the conditions of your access to and use of the Platform and its Content ('You').
1. Who We Are and How to Contact Us
The Platform is operated and owned by Al Haraj Al Maftouh for Electronic Trading LLC ('Emirates Haraj' or 'We' or 'Us').

2. By Using the Platform, You Agree to These Terms of Use
By accessing the Platform and continuing to use it, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms of Use, and acknowledge and agree that these Terms of Use govern and determine the conditions of your access to and use of the Platform and any Content.
You understand that these Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Emirates Haraj.
If you are using the Platform as or on behalf of a commercial entity, you acknowledge that you have the authority to legally bind that entity.
If you do not agree to comply with these Terms of Use, you may not access or use the Platform or any Content and must stop doing so immediately.
3. We May Make Changes to These Terms of Use
We may make changes to these Terms of Use from time to time, with or without notice. The new version of these Terms of Use will be provided on this page. If you are a currently registered user, we may also notify you of any material updates to these Terms of Use (for example, when we are legally required to do so).
Each time you wish to use the Platform, please review these Terms of Use to ensure you understand the terms and conditions that apply to the Platform and its Content at that time.
4. We May Make Changes to the Platform
We may change how the Platform operates and/or change any Content from time to time without notice. This may be, for example, to reflect changes that occur in the features and functions of the Platform, or the state of current technology, or market practices, or applicable laws or regulations and/or our business priorities.
5. We May Suspend or Discontinue the Platform
We do not guarantee that the Platform and/or any Content will always be available for free or generally available. We may suspend, discontinue, or restrict the availability of all or any part of the Platform for commercial and/or operational reasons.
6. Your Privacy
Please refer to our Privacy Policy to understand how your personal data is collected and processed and shared in connection with your use of the Platform.
7. Your Right to Use the Platform and Content
Subject to your continued compliance with these Terms of Use, Emirates Haraj grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the Platform and Content.
8. Restrictions
You may not:
- Use the Platform if you are under eighteen (18) years of age
- Use the Platform in any illegal manner or for any illegal purpose
- Attempt unauthorized access to the Platform or the server on which the Platform is stored or any server, computer, or database connected to the Platform
- Harm, disable, interfere with, or disrupt the Platform or any Content or any part thereof, or any part of any equipment or network on which the Platform or any Content is stored, or any software or other systems or equipment used in providing the Platform or any Content
- Deliberately introduce viruses or malicious software such as Trojans, worms, logic bombs, or any other technically harmful or damaging materials to the Platform
- Impersonate any other person while using the Platform
- Behave in a vulgar, offensive, annoying, harassing, or objectionable manner while using the Platform
- Use the Platform to create unwanted advertisements or spam messages
- Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade, resell, or exploit all or any part of the Platform or any Content for any commercial purpose
- Use manual methods or any software, devices, scripts, robots, or any other means or processes (including what are called 'spiders,' 'robots,' and 'crawlers') to harm the Platform and/or its Content, or to create or compile (in individual or multiple attempts) a collection, database, or directory from the Platform or its Content, or to bypass or attempt to bypass any robot exclusion headers we may implement
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decrypt, or attempt to derive the source code of the Platform and/or its Content
We will report any breach of the above restrictions to the competent authorities and will cooperate with them by disclosing your identity to them.
9. Account Creation
Creating an Account
Although you can browse the Platform as a guest, you will need to create an account ('Account') to access certain features on the Platform. If you choose to register for an account, you will need to provide certain information about yourself as required during the account registration process on the Platform.
Accurate and Current Information
If you create an account, all registration information you send must be accurate and current. If any information you send is, for any reason, incorrect and/or inaccurate or incomplete, you must update that information to maintain its accuracy.
What to Do If You Want to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account through the settings available on the Platform.
You are responsible for your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information (including your password). Accordingly, you are responsible for all activities that occur from your account.
Unauthorized Use of Your Account
You must notify us immediately if you suspect or become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of its security at cs@emiratesharaj.com or by contacting 00971545600700.
10. Paid Services
Emirates Haraj may, from time to time, offer paid services on the Platform ('Paid Service'). For example, you may choose to pay a nominal fee to promote your advertisements on the Platform.
You acknowledge and agree that with respect to each Paid Service:
- Any fees you pay for a Paid Service are non-refundable under all circumstances
- Paid Services are provided according to your needs and do not guarantee the success of your advertisement or that it will lead to any minimum number of potential customers for your advertisement
11. Advertisements
The Platform enables users who wish to sell goods or services ('Seller') to advertise such goods or services (each referred to as an 'Advertisement') to other users on the Platform. A user interested in such goods or services ('Buyer') may contact the Seller (via the Advertisement) to make an offer for such goods or services.
If you are a Seller, you must:
- Be legally permitted to sell the goods or services on the Platform
- Be the legal owner of the goods, or be legally permitted to sell the goods or provide the services advertised in your listing
- Ensure that your listing complies with our Acceptable Use Policy
- Include a complete and accurate description of the goods or services in your listing
- List only one (1) item or service in any advertisement, and you may not sell multiple items or services through a single advertisement
- Not post advertisements in inappropriate categories or areas on the Platform
- Not post advertisements for any counterfeit goods or goods that infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other third-party rights
- Not use the Platform as an agent, service, or intermediary for a third party that posts advertisements on the Platform on behalf of others
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding your advertisement
- Act legally and in good faith in your transactions with Buyers
If you are a Buyer, you must:
- Be legally permitted to purchase the goods or services through the Platform
- Act legally and in good faith in your transactions with any Seller
12. Emirates Haraj is Not Responsible for Advertisements
You acknowledge and agree that Emirates Haraj is not obligated to monitor, approve, or supervise Advertisements or their content. We are not responsible for Advertisements posted on the Platform.
If you wish to purchase goods or services via the Platform, you purchase them from the user who posted the relevant listing, without Emirates Haraj's intervention.
Although Emirates Haraj is not responsible for Advertisements, we reserve the right to monitor Advertisements and remove any Advertisement from the Platform if the Advertisement violates these Terms of Use (including the Acceptable Use Policy).
13. Uploading Content to the Platform
Content Owned by You
Any content you upload to the Platform, including as part of an advertisement, is non-commercial and owned by you. You retain all ownership rights in your Content, but you are obligated to grant us and other users of the Platform a limited license to use, store, copy, distribute, and make available this Content to third parties and publish it on social media. Specifically, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works from, display, and perform this Content in connection with the Service provided on the Platform and promoting the Platform.
You are solely responsible for backing up your Content
You are solely responsible for backing up your Content and its copies. We have the right to disclose your identity to any third party who claims that any content you publish or upload to the Platform constitutes an infringement of their intellectual property rights or their right to privacy.
We reserve the right to remove any content
We reserve the right to remove any content you publish or upload to the Platform with or without notice if, in our opinion, it does not comply with these Terms of Use (including the Acceptable Use Policy).
14. Acceptable Use Policy
When using a feature that allows you to upload content to the Platform or communicate with other users of the Platform, you must comply with the standards set forth in our Acceptable Use Policy.
You undertake that any such content complies with those standards, and you are responsible to us and indemnify us for any breach of this warranty. This means you will be responsible for any loss or damage we incur as a result of your breach of the warranty.
15. Payment Processing
In certain circumstances, we may collect payments from you via the Platform (including when you choose to purchase Paid Services).
If this is the case, by providing us with your payment method details at the time of payment, you authorize us (through the payment processor we have chosen) to charge the relevant payment method the amount displayed to you at the time of payment.
16. Our Liability to You
We do not intend to exclude or limit our liability to you in any way where it would be illegal to do so. Subject to the foregoing, our liability to you is limited as follows:
If you are using the Platform in a commercial capacity
We provide you with the Platform and Content 'as is' and on an 'as available' basis. We exclude all implied warranties, guarantees, representations, or other conditions that may apply to the Platform or any Content. We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract or tort (including negligence) or breach of statutory duty or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Platform, or your use of or reliance on any Content.
In particular, we will not be liable to you for any:
- (1) loss of profits, sales, business, or revenue
- (2) business interruption
- (3) loss of anticipated savings
- (4) loss of business opportunities, goodwill, or reputation
- (5) loss or corruption of data
- (6) indirect or consequential losses or damages
If you are using the Platform in a personal capacity
You acknowledge and agree that we provide you with the Platform only for local and private use. We do not guarantee the availability of the Platform, or that the Platform or any Content will be error-free or fit for any particular purpose. You agree not to use the Platform for any commercial purposes, and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity. If we fail to comply with these Terms of Use, in no event shall Emirates Haraj's liability to you in connection with your use of the Platform or these Terms of Use, regardless of the cause of action or the loss you incur, exceed the higher of: (1) the amount you paid for the Paid Service that is the subject of the relevant dispute or claim (if any); or (2) one thousand Emirati Dirhams (AED 1,000).
17. Breach of These Terms of Use
If we consider, in our sole opinion, that you are violating any part of these Terms of Use, we may take the action we deem appropriate at our sole discretion, including but not limited to suspending or withdrawing your right to use the Platform or its Content and/or closing your account and/or taking legal action against you.
18. Reporting Illegal or Violating Content
If you encounter any content on the Platform that you believe is illegal, please contact us immediately at cs@emiratesharaj.com or by contacting 00971545600700 with full details of the illegal content.
If you are an owner of intellectual property rights, or an agent authorized to act on behalf of an owner of intellectual property rights, and you believe that any Content infringes your intellectual property right or the intellectual property rights of the owner you are authorized to act on behalf of, please notify Emirates Haraj at cs@emiratesharaj.com or by contacting 00971545600700 with full details of the alleged infringement. We will make all reasonable efforts to remove any Content that infringes intellectual property rights from the Platform within a reasonable time frame.
19. General
Links to Third-Party Websites or Content
If the Platform contains links to other websites and/or third-party content (including in listings), these links are provided for your information and convenience only. These links should not be interpreted as our endorsement of those linked websites or any content you may obtain from them. We have no control over the contents of those third-party websites, and we exclude any liability in this regard.
Assignment of Our Rights and Obligations
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms of Use to another organization. We will notify you in writing if this happens, and we will ensure that the transfer does not affect your rights under these Terms of Use.
No other person has any rights under these Terms of Use
These Terms of Use are between you and Emirates Haraj only, and no other person has any rights to enforce any of its provisions or rely on them.
If we delay in enforcing our rights
If we delay in enforcing our rights under these Terms of Use, we can still enforce them later. Even if we do not immediately insist that you do something required of you under these Terms of Use, or if we delay in taking action against you regarding your breach of these Terms of Use, that does not mean you are not required to do those things and will not prevent us from taking action against you at a later time.
If a court finds that part of these Terms of Use is illegal
If a court finds that part of these Terms of Use is illegal, the rest of the Terms will remain in effect. Each section of these Terms of Use operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them is illegal, the remaining sections will remain in full force and effect.
The Platform is directed at persons residing in certain areas only
We cannot guarantee that the Content available on or through the Platform is appropriate for use or available in locations where we do not explicitly make the Platform available, and we cannot guarantee that the Platform complies with the laws and regulations in areas where we do not operate.
Language
If these Terms of Use are translated into any other language and there is a discrepancy between the Arabic text and the text in the other language, the Arabic text version shall prevail to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between you and Emirates Haraj, we strongly encourage you to contact us first directly to request a resolution of the dispute by email at cs@emiratesharaj.com or by contacting 00971545600700. We will review your complaint and do our best to address it.
Appendix 1 - Additional Terms - Vehicles
The 'Motorat' section on the Platform allows Sellers to advertise vehicles for sale, and potential Buyers to view information about vehicles and contact the Seller.
Sellers
If you are a Seller, you acknowledge and agree that any vehicle you advertise on the Platform must:
- Be legally owned by you (or the person on whose behalf you post the listing)
- Be available for sale
- Be located in the country where you are located
- Be accurately described in your listing
Emirates Haraj may request that you provide proof of vehicle ownership and/or proof that the vehicle is located in the country where you reside and/or has been cleared by local customs. If you do not provide this proof within the time frame specified in our request (which must be reasonable), we may delete the relevant advertisement immediately without notice to you and without any refund of the amount.
Emirates Haraj - Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: June 1, 2024
1. What is This Policy?
This Acceptable Use Policy ('Policy') sets out the rules that apply when you use or upload content to the Platform available at www.emiratesharaj.com and through any Emirates Haraj mobile application available from time to time (collectively referred to as the 'Platform'), or when you communicate with other users of the Platform, or when you link to the Platform or interact with the Platform in any other way.
It should be read together with the Platform Terms of Use and forms part of them.
2. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Platform in the following cases:
- If you are under the age of eighteen (18)
- In any manner that violates any applicable local, national, or international law
- In any illegal or fraudulent manner, or has any illegal or fraudulent purpose or effect
- To bully, insult, intimidate, or humiliate any person
- To harm any person
- To transmit, receive, upload, download, use, or reuse any materials that do not comply with our Content Standards
- To transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional materials, or any other form of similar solicitation ('spam')
3. Content Standards
These Content Standards apply to all materials you contribute to the Platform ('Your User Content'). You must comply with these Content Standards in form and substance. Emirates Haraj will determine, at its sole discretion, whether any User Content violates these Content Standards.
User Content must be:
- Accurate (where it states facts)
- Genuinely held opinions (where appropriate)
- Compliant with applicable law in any country from which it is posted and to which the Platform is directed
User Content must not be:
- Likely to deceive any person
- Contain illegal content, or promote any illegal content or activity
- Defamatory of any person
- Obscene, offensive, hateful, or inflammatory
- Bully, insult, intimidate, or humiliate any person
- Promote or provide instructions for intentional self-harm
- Promote terrorism or advocate for it
- Promote sexually explicit material
- Include material on child sexual abuse
- Incite violence or hatred against certain groups
- Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age
- Infringe any copyright, database right, or trademark of any other person
- Include video content that is not legally permitted in any country from which it is posted and to which the Platform is directed
- Breach any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or duty of confidence
- Contempt of court
- Violate another person's privacy
- Impersonate any person, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person
- Give the impression that User Content comes from Emirates Haraj or is associated with or endorsed by it if it is not
- Contain any external advertisements, or promote any services or web links to other websites
4. Prohibited Items
The Platform allows you to advertise items and services to other Platform users. You are prohibited from advertising any goods or services on the Platform that are listed in the Prohibited Items List.
5. Breach of This Policy
If we consider that you are breaching this Policy, we may take the action we deem appropriate in our sole discretion. Non-compliance with this Policy constitutes a breach of the Platform Terms of Use, which determine how you are allowed to use the Platform, and may lead us to take all or any of the following actions:
- Issue a warning to you
- Immediate, temporary, or permanent withdrawal of your right to use the Platform (including closing your account, if you have one)
- Immediate, temporary, or permanent removal of any User Content that is found to constitute a violation
- Take legal action against you to recover all costs resulting from your violation, or any other legal action against you
- Disclose such information to law enforcement officers as we deem necessary or as required by law
